Money Maker

Money Maker
An English Heirloom that originated in Bristol in the 1900s.  It grows well in hot, humid weather.  However, it is very adaptable and will grow in any climate.  It is a prolific producer of smooth red medium-sized fruits that have a sweet flavour.
I planted the six transplants I purchased from a nursery on Oct.1 in two one-foot squares of my raised bed garden to remove the weaker plants as they became apparent.

The plants grew rapidly, and by WW4-17, extensive foliage had developed. The plants were pruned on WW4-27, revealing numerous small yellow flowers. By Nov.1, turrets of tiny green tomatoes were starting to form in the plant's vine-pruned areas.

Market More tomatoes produce an abundance of medium size to small tomatoes but which are not as flavoursome as Roma tomatoes.  However, it is useful in salads, where the taste can be enhanced by salad dressing.
