Bed D - Autumn

Month 1: Late summer

The temperatures are are just beginning to diminish slightly, and the days are starting to get slightly shorter.  ahowever, plants are in full bloom, and pests are abundant.

During the final months of the warm-weather growing season, many of my lettuce plants were starting to go to seed, and I decided to pull them out, along with my last crop of bean plants which I had just harvested, leaving  sections of the bed bare.
